SKB Turbina JSC
SKB Turbina JSC was created in 1970 and is part of JSC NPO High-Precision Complexes, Rostech State Corporation.
Today SKB Turbina is a research and production complex with a fully equiped design-engeneering and production team, as well as manufacturing facility with unique technologies and experimental capability. Our company makes the full spectrum of its profile: research and development, mass production, guarantee and post guarantee service, author supervision.
SKB Turbina is a Russian and CIS specialised producer of compact gas turbine engines and multifunctional gas turbine power plants.
SKB Turbina:
- Micro-gas turbine installations with a capacity from 18 to 200 kW, powered by gaseous fuels (including associated petroleum gas).
- Turbochargers and supercharging units that are used to increase the power of the internal combustion engine of locomotives, small vessels and special equipment.
All our developments are combination of design and technological solutions. All our products are import substitutional.
1. Micro-gas turbine power plants with a capacity of 18-200 kW are designed to generate electric energy of established quality by burning hydrocarbon gas. The units and systems are controlled automatically and do not require the intervention of maintenance personnel.
The scope of application of power plants: autonomous power supply to industrial facilities in the oil and gas sector, construction, agricultural, medical, IT-sphere, as well as decentralized energy, including use in the Arctic zone (in container design).
Gas micro turbine power plants have several undeniable advantages:
1) The use of associated petroleum gas as fuel.
2) Joint use with renewable energy sources (wind turbines and solar panels) - to ensure stable and reliable energy supply.
3) Suitable for working with variable and low load.
The gas micro turbine units developed and manufactured at SKB Turbina are a product of import substitution, a direct analogue of the American Capstone Green Energy microturbines. The power plants of SKB Turbina have successfully passed pilot operation at the fields of JSC Gazprom and are recommended for use.
2. Also, under the import substitution program, in 2024 JSC SKB Turbina launched mass production of turbochargers that are analogues of equipment from Switzerland and Austria.
TKR201 second-stage turbochargers for diesel engines with a capacity of 750-1500 horsepower are used for railway and construction equipment. The products are capable of increasing the efficiency of the internal combustion engine and reducing nitrogen oxide emissions. The samples have been tested, and mass production has been launched. The total capacity of the production unit of JSC SKB Turbina for the production of TKR201 is 350 products per year.
