Polisorb JSC, created from scratch, today is a powerful pharmaceutical production. During this time, 85 million packages of the universal medicine for allergies, poisoning and diarrhea were sold. The company's near-term plans include active expansion in the international pharmaceutical arena.
The use of colloidal silicon dioxide, the main active ingredient of Polisorb MP, began in the 1980s with the developments of the USSR Ministry of Defense. It was taken by Chernobyl disaster liquidators and military personnel in the unsanitary conditions of Afghanistan. In 1997, silicon dioxide was registered as a medicinal product, Polysorb MP, and launched into mass production.
Several people were at the origins of the enterprise, the medicine was distributed only at the regional level - in pharmacies of Chelyabinsk. It took only a few years to enter the domestic pharmacological market. Very quickly, the sorbent began to be actively used by doctors in clinical practice as a medicine for poisoning, diarrhea, allergies, intestinal and rotavirus infections, chronic renal failure, viral hepatitis.
The medicinal properties of the enterosorbent are confirmed by clinical studies that are conducted continuously. Improvement of the pharmaceutical quality system for the production of the medicine allowed obtaining GMP and ISO quality certificates.
Today, the enterosorbent is supplied throughout Russia and abroad. Polisorb MP is an effective medicine that sets a trend in the domestic sorbent market. More than 300 people work on its production. The medicine is used in many areas of medicine: in therapy and pediatrics, gastroenterology, dermatology, gynecology, surgery and others.
Other sorbents, porous, are capable of holding substances inside their pores, but their capabilities are limited by the size of the pores, into which large molecules simply do not fit. Polisorb is a non-porous enterosorbent.
Due to the electrostatic properties of the preparation, harmful substances of different sizes are first attracted and then firmly glued together. The delicate particles of Polisorb are capable of absorbing small particles of toxins, medium-sized pathogenic bacteria, and large allergens.
The unique properties of Polisorb allow it to be used for a wide range of pathological conditions from intestinal infections and allergic reactions to hangovers. The enterosorbent is a soft, light white powder that consists of a pure substance without additives and has no taste or smell. Polisorb is taken orally only as an aqueous suspension.
In solution, Polisorb acquires the properties of a colloid - an amorphous substance without a crystal lattice. It acts gently. Does not injure the walls of the stomach and intestines.
